Prayer

Heavenly Father,
You are our comfort in times of uncertainty and change. Help us recognize when infants need additional reassurance during transitions, disruptions, or unfamiliar experiences. Give caregivers patience to provide extra holding, soothing, affection, and consistency. Help us remind every child through our presence that they are not alone.

Amen.

Change can feel overwhelming to an infant because they rely on familiar people, routines, and surroundings to feel secure. Providing additional comfort during transitions helps communicate safety and reminds the infant that loving caregivers remain present even when circumstances change.

Practice / Task

During a transition or disruption today, intentionally offer extra comfort through gentle touch, soothing words, eye contact, or staying close. Say:
“Even when things change, you are safe and loved.”
