Prayer

Heavenly Father,
You are our protector and strong tower. Help us protect infants from frightening sounds, angry arguments, and all forms of violence. Give caregivers self-control, wisdom, and courage to create spaces where infants can experience safety and peace. May every child know the comfort of being protected and surrounded by love.

Amen.

Scripture Reflection (KJV)

“The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.” — Nahum 1:7

God is a protector. Infants depend completely on adults to create safe environments for them. Shielding an infant from loud arguments and violence communicates that their environment is secure and that caring adults will protect them from frightening experiences.

Practice / Task

Identify a safe, quiet space where an infant can be taken when conflict or intense emotions arise. Practice using that space before a crisis occurs. Remind yourself:
“This child deserves safety and peace.”
