Prayer to Encourage Positive Family Involvement

Heavenly Father,
Help families recognize the importance of working together to support the healthy development of their infants. Give family members patience, understanding, and compassion as they learn how to provide care and encouragement. Help caregivers create an environment where every supportive family member can contribute positively to the infant’s well-being.

“And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works.” — Hebrews 10:24

Healthy family involvement can provide infants with additional opportunities to experience love, security, and connection. When family members work together and encourage one another, they can create a stronger support system for both the infant and the primary caregiver.

Identify one family member who can provide positive support to the infant and caregiver. Ask yourself:
“How can this family member become more meaningfully involved in supporting the infant?”
